Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter Holiday can mean different things to many people.
It can be celebrated in a variety of ways with families and friends.

Looking at the Christian meaning of Easter, it is one of the oldest festivals in the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter lasts from Good Friday to Easter Monday.

The celebration often includes the Easter bunny coming on the eve on Easter Sunday to spread holiday cheer and excitement for many people.

To many, the key is enjoying special moments with loved ones and sharing the holiday together.

Share your Easter stories and traditions that you participate in with your families and/or friends.

  1. Easter has always been a very special holiday in my family. For us, this is a time that we get together and celebrate with creativity and laughs. We have always done a variety of activities, but the key is family and appreciating one another.

As a child, we always did "Easter Egg Hunts" that included riddles that each person has to solve in order to find our speical treats.

As an adult, we have progressed and in the past few years, we have created and participated in family "Eggmazing Races", which includes toddlers to great grandparents. This is a team event, that promotes working together and stepping outside of one's comfort zone to do your part as the team/family member. How it works: Each team has eggs that are hidden. We find one egg at a time. When we find the egg, there is a challenge inside. Challenges range from physical fitness, thinking games, to food eating competitions. Once we complete a challenge, we find another egg. Usually our "Eggmazing Race" consists of 6 challenges. It is an absolute blast that we all look forward to, as it is an Eggmazing time!! In the end, we have many great memories and photos!!
