We Love and Appreciate you, Mom!

In many parts of the world,
we take the time to honour our mothers on Mother's Day.

In Canada, we show our appreciation for our Mothers
on the second Sunday of May each year.

Consider taking the time to remind your mother and grandmother how much you care!

Please share ways that you have shown your appreciation
for your mother whether it is an act of kindness, homemade card or gift,
special moments shared together, etc.

As a mother,
have there been special ways that you have been appreciated?

  1. As a family we let each other know everyday how much we care and mean to each other. Mother's Day is one more day to give the extra hug, words or acts of kindness or to share those little words ~ "Thank you and I Love You!"
As a daughter, I like to bring my mom flowers, make a meal and spend time visiting .... reminding her how much she means to me.
As a parent, my grown children will often do extra chores around the house, prepare a meal, have family time playing card or dice games or doing an outside activity together ..... most of all give me HUGS and share how much they care and appreciate what we do together.
When my children were younger, they would create homemade crafts that I have held onto for many years. Some of their crafts include: cards, poems with illustrations, notepads cut into a shape made from recycled material, potted plants, ..... the list goes on. These are memories that a mom will hold onto for years to come!

  2. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, but especially to mine today! Our family's tradition is to celebrate Mother's Day with a steak barbecue with all the family. There can never be enough special occasions to bring family together. Thank you, Mom, for being the thoughtful person you are! Hugs!
